		KANGOL KID RETURNS: For the City Council’s May 17 celebration of Haitian Flag Day, Councilwoman Yvette Clarke helped round up the usual assortment of civic and religious leaders and other semi-notable Haitians from various walks of life.
		Kangol asked the other three original U.T.F.O. (Untouchable Force Organization) members to join him, and they accepted.
		Kangol is thought to be the first Haitian rapper, and while he was never able to duplicate the success of “Roxanne, Roxanne,” it’s good to see he hasn’t been forgotten.

		As individuals, Educated is an AandR Director for an independent record company, Doctor Ice has appeared as an actor in several short films, MixMaster Ice is an air-personality on radio and Kangol is a music producer for various artists and is scoring his second film.

		Classic, innocent pre-gangster rap filled with sprase beats, amusing rhymes, and excellent delivery.
		Kangol Kid, Dr. Ice, the Educated Rapper, and Mixmaster Ice made an excellent debut (remember how the teenybopper girls swooned over "Fairytale Lover?").
		Sadly, UTFO and rap music itself would take the low road lyrically as time went on.
