This is the firm view of Kanu Sanyal, one of the chief architects of Naxalbari movement.
Sanyal, was in the city on Monday to participate in a meeting of the Central Coordination Committee of Communist Organisation of India (Marxist-Leninist) and the CPI-ML Unity Initiative.
Sanyal stressed that the COI-ML, of which is the general secretary, was again "fighting inch by inch'' in the cause of revolution in West Bengal and other parts of the country.

Communist Organisation of India-Marxist-Leninist general secretary Kanu Sanyal has charged the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre with allowing Pakistan intruders to cross the Line of Control into Kashmir and exploiting the situation with the aim of gaining political mileage in the elections.
Sanyal said his party had demanded a white paper on the Kargil situation explaining the intelligence failure, Defence Minister George Fernandes' statement that the intruders would be provided safe passage and the presence of two military generals at the meeting of the BJP national executive.
Sanyal also charged the Congress, the BJP and the Left parties, including the CPI-M, with engaging in the formation of opportunistic alliances to grab power and declared that his organisation would not support any of the combinations.

Veteran Naxalite leader Kanu Sanyal, along with his supporters, was arrested today for staging a “rail roko” which held up the Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express at the New Jalpaiguri station, police said today.
Sanyal, a CPI-ML leader and the West Bengal Tea Garden Labour Union general secretary, launched the 20-minute “rail roko” agitation in protest against the failure of the management of Paharghumia tea garden in holding talks.
Sanyal, along with Charu Majumdar was the founding father of the Naxalite movement.

Veteran Naxalite leader Kanu Sanyal was seriously injured when some robbers stabbed him at Nimtita in Murshidabad district of West Bengal yesterday while he was travelling by train.
Sanyal returned to Siliguri after he was administered first aid.
Sources in Calcutta said the state government has been trying to persuade Sanyal to get admitted to hospital for better treatment, but he refuses to accept government treatment.

The line of "annihilation of the class enemy" could be treated as a tactical error, which could change should the need arise, as indeed was pointed out by Charu Mazumdar himself in his last article.

It was designed to give a communist direction to the anti-globalisation movement and enjoyed the participation of a number of ideological strands of the international communist movement; a number of useful reports were submitted to the conference which are of wide interest.
