		Kappa Kappa Psi is a U.S. honorary band fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands.
		Kappa Kappa Psi was founded on November 27, 1919 by ten members of the Oklahoma A and M College (later to be known as the Oklahoma State University) Band, led by William Alexander Scroggs and the band director and mentor, Bohumil Makovsky.
		Kappa Kappa Psi was for many years an exclusively male fraternity, though changes in perception within the organization as well as Title IX led the organization to become co-ed in the late 1970s.
