 | | One of the concerned farmers, Mr Peneas Kapuka told the Namibia Press Agency (Nampa) recently that cattle thieves are driving cattle from their area into neighbouring Angola where the animals are being sold to Angolan businesspersons. |
 | | Mr Kapuka alleged that Angolan businesspersons from Luanda are the potential buyers, buying the stolen cattle from near the border towns such as Sangongo and Omongwa before loading them onto trucks for slaughtering at Okahama in southern Angola. |
 | | During Namibia’s 12th Independence celebration at Onesi last Friday, Mr Kapuka said he brought the issue to the attention of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development Minister, Honourable Helmut Angula who was addressing a public meeting there. |
