		Djordje Petrović, better known as Karadjordje (Ђорђе Петровић, Карађорђе) (November 3, 1768 - July 13, 1817) was the leader of the First Serbian uprising against the Turks, and the founder of the House of Karadjordjević;.
		Frightened by Karadjordje's arrival, both for himself and for Serbia, whose freedom could perish again in another struggle, knez Miloš ordered his assassination which was soon executed at Radovanje.
		Karadjordje was the most notable figure in the history of modern Serbia.
