The Karadjordjevics is a Serbian dynasty, descended from Karadjordje.
The ruling members were Alexander (reigned 1842-1858), Petar I (reigned 1903-1918), Alexander (reigned 1921-1934), and Petar II Karadjordjevic, the last king, reigning from March 27, 1941 to November 29, 1945.
Karadjordjevics are politically active in Serbia, supporting the view that it should become a kingdom again.

King Petar I Karadjordjevic began the construction of the Church of Saint George in the central Serbian town of Oplenac in 1910.
His son Aleksandar Karadjordjevic finished it after World War I. 17 members of the royal family were buried in the crypt in the Church of Saint George.
