Tunisian charter carrier Karthago Airlines is doubling its Boeing 737 fleet by acquiring two -300s on lease from Ansett Worldwide.
The airline, which launched operations last year with two 737-300s leased from Ansett Worldwide, has added a second batch of -300s on medium-term leases.
Karthago, which is headquartered in Djerba, on Tunisia's south-eastern coast, will use the new aircraft, operated in a 148-seat configuration, to support Karthago's expanding charter services throughout Europe and the Mediterranean from its bases in Tunis and Monastir.
