In my opinion Karyn Kupcinet was killed in the same manner.
I remember her boyfriend was a suspect at one point, and something about threatening letters she and her boyfriend had received were investigated and it appeared (at that time at least) they were sent by Karyn herself.
I looked up that book today re Kupcinet and it returned a weird story of these German children who were molested and killed.

It must be pointed out here that the tragic and unexplained murder of Kup's 22-year-old daughter Karyn after Thanksgiving of 1963 was often cited in Kennedy Assassination conspiracy books as somehow an unexplained death related to that dark event in American history.
The continuing use of Karyn's name in connection with lists that were reprinted in several JFK conspiracy books was a source of pain to Kup that he most recently wrote about when the NBC Today Show recklessly used the list in 1992.

What could link her death was that her father, Chicago Columnist Irv Kupcinet, immediately began an investigation into Jack Ruby (whom he knew), and the Chicago connection to Kennedy's murder.
