		Kasson began his career in the music industry after attending Berklee College of Music (music production and engineering major) at Lexicon where he worked in QA on products like the PCM90, MPX1, and 960, also making an abundance of presets for those devices.
		His first title there was the 2000 game FreQuency which he did lead audio production on, and composed the songs under the band name's Freezepop, Symbion Project, DJ HMX, and Komputer Kontroller.
		Kasson other main hobbies are his bands Freezepop and Symbion Project.

		I was very excited to learn last week that the lead singer of Splashdown, Melissa Kaplan, is in the process of recording a solo album, as the "band" Universal Hall Pass.
		She's even working with some of the people that worked with her and former Splashdown members Kasson Crooker and Adam Buhler to make Splashdown such an amazing group of entertainers.
		Kasson Crooker, on the other hand, has long sense been a part of the band Freezepop and also has some of his own work under the name of Symbion Project.

		With his second album, Immortal Game, Crooker stakes what I find to be a very reasonable claim to offer the latest cutting edge music in this often overlooked genre.
		As is common in trip hop, the disc’s 11 tracks are all slow to mid tempo exercises in ambient atmospherics that feature electro soul grooves combined with wistful, almost sad melodies awash in an endless array of intriguing synthesized soundscapes and what I assume are samples on occasion.
		Normally I’m a person who prefers an album to be more dramatic, with many changes in the ebb and flow, so obviously Crooker is doing something right in that all these songs manage to hold my attention.
