More than any other rapper, Dr. Dre was responsible for moving away from the avant-noise and political stance of Public Enemy and Boogie Down Productions, as well as the party vibes of old school rap.
Dre was never much of a rapper -- his rhymes were simple and his delivery was slow and clumsy -- but as a producer, he was extraordinary.
In 1986, he met Ice Cube, and the two rappers began writing songs for Ruthless Records, a label started by former drug pusher Eazy-E. Eazy tried to give one of the duo's songs, "Boyz N the Hood," to HBO, a group signed to Ruthless.

In 1995, he moved to California and together with Tupac, Bruce "Fatal" Washington, E.D.I, Kadafi and Mutah "Napoleon" Beale formed a group, the Outlaw Immortalz (which was later renamed to the Outlawz).
Kastro also guest appeared on two other songs, "Tradin' War Stories" and "Thug Passion." On September 7, Tupac was shot in Las Vegas and died on September 13

For example, if a young rapper came into he Death Row studios and asked for Suge to hear him rhyming, Suge would say he would let him rap and see if he liked him, but if he didn't they would beat the shit outta him.
So many Death Row members have spoken out about this as some of the young rapper wannabies would only say a word or two and Suge would decide he didn't like him and would attack him along with other Death Row members and friends.
Kastro in the song talks about the way the world is, things that are happening these days, that are very true.
