Kasukabe (Japanese: 春日部市; -shi) is a city located in eastern Saitama, Japan, approximately 30 kilometers north of Tokyo.
Kasukabe is well-known in Japan as the setting of the manga and anime series Crayon Shin-chan.
Kasukabe is serviced by the privately-owned Tobu Noda and Tobu Isesaki train lines, connecting respectively to the JR train network at Omiya and Shin-Koshigaya at their nearest transfer points.

I’ve found some awesome places to get food in Kasukabe, and also found that some of the Japanese food is really nice.
My favourite 2 things are Yakitori (Chicken and onion on a stick) and Gyoza (People call it dumpling, but its thin dough wrapped around a meat, vegetable and spice filling).
April is in Saitama, but at the other end of the prefecture.
