		Young, who specializes in landscapes and seascapes, has exhibited in shows for the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, the North Tahoe Art Center and the American Physicians Art Association.
		Young has been painting since grade school and studied briefly at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. But primarily she is self-trained.
		Young never abandoned her love for art, and about a year ago she began to pursue painting more aggressively.
