Three of Scott's busts feature in the National Portrait Gallery's collection, and she is also the subject of thirteen photograpic portraits there.
Born Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce, she was the youngest of eleven children of Lloyd Stewart Bruce and Jane Bruce.
However she was not entitled to be called Lady Scott merely by virtue of this, and this did not amount to Captain Scott being posthumously knighted.

Scott had not been offered any such honour prior to his departure for Antarctica, so he could not have accepted.
Scott did not posthumously become Sir Robert, Kathleen was never the widow of an actual KCB, she was never Dame Kathleen, and she did not become Lady Scott until her second marriage to a man who became a peer.
