		Kathleen "Kathy" Griffin (born November 4, 1961, Oak Park, Illinois) is an American stand-up comedian whose career took off in the early 1990s amongst such comedically different counterparts as Janeane Garofalo and David Cross.
		Griffin met Washington, D.C. native Matt Moline on a blind date in July 1999.
		Most critics agree that Griffin is hardly a D-List celebrity; and within the comic world, Kathy is a solid 'A-List.' Griffin performs infront of soldout crowds in numerous US cities every month, and has a reality show based on her life, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, returning for a second season.
