Curtis is thoroughly familiar and knowledgeable with all aspects of his job.  He performs his duties in an efficient and timely manner and requires no supervision.  Mr.
Curtis does not, however, deal with people as smoothly as might be desired.  His somewhat gruff and abrupt method of handling people, while civil, can be disconcerting to those who do not know him.

Keene Curtis, the Tony Award-winning actor whose range included roles in everything from The School for Scandal, The Wild Duck and The Cherry Orchard — to Daddy Warbucks in Annie — died early Oct. 13 near Salt Lake City, after battling Alzheimer's disease, according to industry friends.
Curtis, 79, whose diction and demeanor dripped with style and presence, won a Tony Award for playing multiple characters in the lives of the European banking family, the Rothschilds, in the 1970 Bock and Harnick musical, The Rothschilds.
Curtis' father was a civil servant, his mother a teacher.

Tony Award-winning actor Keene Curtis, who played Daddy Warbucks in Annie on Broadway and was the upstairs restaurant owner on the TV show Cheers, has died.
Curtis died Sunday from complications of Alzheimer's disease at a retirement centre in Bountiful, Utah, the Los Angeles Times reported yesterday.
Curtis is survived by his sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Curtis was a Mormon (Latter Day Saint), but was inactive in church.

Though he was prolific in film and on-stage, it was on television that Curtis made a lasting impression with roles on such popular series as M*A*S*H, Benson, and The Pretender.
Always concerned with helping aspiring actors realize their dreams, Curtis would later endow an acting scholarship, in addition to donating his Tony and other theater memorabilia, to his alma mater.
On October 13, 2002, Keene Curtis died of Alzheimer's disease in Bountiful, UT. He was 79.

Curtis (born 1923) graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in 1943 and M.A. in 1947.
Curtis has also performed the voices for television cartoon characters in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure," "Laverne and Shirley," and "Swat Kats." These scripts are located in box 6 and date from 1990-1994.
This collection was donated by Keene Curtis in September 1994 (boxes 1-29), December 1994 (box 30), and August 1996 (boxes 31-48).
