The Tokyo Kyuko Electric Railway (東京急行電鉄 Tōkyō Kyūkō Dentetsu), better known as Tokyu, is a major private railway operator in the Greater Tokyo Area of Japan.
It was formed on September 2, 1922 as the Meguro-Kamata Electric Railway (目黒蒲田電鉄), and was later known as the Tokyo-Yokohama Electric Railway (東京横浜電鉄) before gaining its current name in 1943.
From 1944 to 1948, it also owned the companies now known as the Keihin Kyuko Electric Railway, Keio Electric Railway, and Odakyu Electric Railway.

Keio Hachioji Station (京王八王子駅) is a railway station in Hachioji, Japan, and the western terminus of the Keio Line of the Keio Electric Railway.
Originally named Higashi-Hachioji - a station on the Onan Electric Railway which opened in 1925 - services between Hachioji and Shinjuku began in 1928, following the merger of the Onan and Keio railways.
The station was renamed in 1963 and moved to its present underground location on 2 April 1989.
