Keith was raised and educated in Wolsey, graduating in 1943.
Keith Gordon is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii, and also has a memorial marker at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Keith Gordon is a skilled filmmaker who has made compelling, accomplished adaptations of novels by Kurt Vonnegut and Scott Spencer.

Gordon appeared in leading roles in John Carpenter’s Christine, Brian De Palma’s Dressed to Kill and Home Movies, the comedy Back to School, as well as supporting roles in numerous films including Bob Fosse’s All That Jazz.
In 1997 Gordon produced and directed Mother Night, starring Nick Nolte, which was named one of the best 10 films of the decade by critic David Sterrit of the Christian Science Monitor.
