Potger was later involved in putting together The New Seekers.
The founding members of the Seekers, Athol Guy, Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley, made an appearance at the closing ceremony of World Expo '88, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with Australian soprano Julie Anthony (as their lead singer in place of Judith Durham), to sing The Carnival is Over.
The Seekers reformed, with the original lineup of Athol Guy, Keith Potger, Bruce Woodley and Judith Durham, during the 1990s and continue to tour as a nostalgia act in Australia and overseas.

Keith Potger a member of the Seekers, the group that first stormed the UK charts in 1965 with Tom Springfield's I'll Never Find Another You and soon followed it up with many other hits which were the rage and the craze, and were on everybody's lips.
Make sure you catch Keith Potger at the Gatsby's on New Year's Eve and enjoy his performance of the many hits from the Seekers and the New Seekers repertoire, as well as those from his solo debut album Secrets of the Heart which was released in Australia last year.
A quick spool back to the early times and as we all know Keith Potger was a radio producer for the ABC which meant he had access to a recording studio and the newly-formed Seekers laid down demos which were released years later as The Seekers Golden Collection.

Thankfully, the third, the less-heralded (by name at least, outside his native Australia) Keith Potger of the Seekers and Georgy Girl fame, has recovered his lost chords and released a long overdue CD, Secrets of the Heart.
Words cannot do justice to the scintillating syrup of Keith's voice; it is everything Lightfoot had and more, and all that Billy Joel aspired to in his more mainstream ballads.
The New Seekers and Jelly Bean Promotions are delighted to announce that Keith will be joining the group in a unique, one-off show which will take place on Thursday, March 15th at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, as part of his UK tour next year.

After the Seekers disbanded, guitarist/vocalist Keith Potger put together an otherwise completely new band in late 1969: female vocalists Eve Graham and Sally Graham (no relation), guitarists/vocalists Laurie Heath and Marty Kristian, and bassist/vocalist Chris Barrington.
Potger christened them the New Seekers and produced their self-titled 1970 debut album, and while he did sing with them at first, he soon retired from both performance and production to become their manager, leaving them with no members of the original Seekers.
His last appearance was on the ironically titled follow-up Keith Potger and the New Seekers, which was issued before the end of the year and featured numerous personnel changes; only Eve Graham and Marty Kristian remained, joined by singer Lyn Paul and guitarists/vocalists Paul Layton and Peter Doyle.

The management was a combination of Keith Potger of The Seekers and an Australian TV producer called David Joseph.
But as the New Seekers became their own entity, the concept was that the group should have two girls and not be at risk of one leaving and killing the group, which is what happened to The Seekers.

Keith Potger formed the successful group The New Seekers in the UK.
