The brewery was set up by the hall’s owners Emma and Jim Harrison along with Dave Wicket from Kelham Island Brewery to brew both Thornbridge Hall beers and to increase the capacity of Kelham Island, which was struggling to keep up with the increased demand after their Champion Beer of Britain award.
The brewery itself was housed in one of the derelict stone-built out-buildings, sympathetically restored with original oak beams, although the roof itself had been beyond repair.

I note that on the 7inch version of The Ocean is a track entitled Kelham Island.
Kelham Island is an instrumental track and very beautiful it is too.
Its a place in Sheffield, a man-made island in the River Don dating back to 1100 although the name dates from the 17th century when it was owned by Kellam Homer.
