Anderson joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder in July 1998 and received tenure in 2005.
Anderson is currently on sabbatical at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Århus in Århus, Denmark working with Kaj Grønbæk and Niels Olof Bouvin and their students.
Recently, Dr. Anderson served as the Vice Chair of ACM SIGWEB ending his term in June 2005 and was also on the program committee for the Hypertext 2005 conference as the Chair of the Hypermedia Systems and Structures Track.

Kenneth Allan "Ken" Anderson (born February 15, 1949 in Batavia, Illinois) is an American football quarterback who spent his entire professional career playing for the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL and later returned as a position coach.
After playing for and graduating from Augustana College (Illinois), Anderson was drafted 67th overall in the 1971 NFL Draft by the Bengals.
He is considered to be one of the first quarterbacks to run what would become known as the "West Coast Offense." Anderson holds the NFL record for highest single-season completion percentage (70.55%) set in 1981 when he was league MVP and led the Bengals to Super Bowl XVI.
