Ken Hom: Ken Hom Brand History   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
After his highly successful TV series in 1984 Ken Hom was approached from many cookware companies to endorse a wok,...and he had his choice, but picked us because he liked the proposal that was made by William Levene Ltd. So we sourced the perfect wok, at the time.
We also launched the Ken Hom Tool set - which was a turner (chan) and ladle which had long handles to keep you away from the high heat - again these were unusual and very difficult to get hold of at the time.
Ken’s woks have been sold in 50 different countries and we’ve sold nearly 5 million in all.
