Ken Jennings is a thirty year old software engineer from Utah who has demolished all of the records set by previous Jeopardy champions.
Because of Jennings' natural male habits, chances are his wife was so supportive of his efforts when he left for the Jeopardy tapings that she offered such reassuring words as "You're not actually planning to wear THAT to the show, are you?"
Jennings would be able to come up with that one single question in the universe to which even a brilliant mind like Ken Jennings would be unable to respond.

Jennings held the record for most winnings on any game show ever played until the end of the Ultimate Tournament of Champions on May 25, 2005, when he was displaced by Brad Rutter, to whom Jennings finished second in that tournament.
Jennings appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to present Letterman's "Top Ten List." He appeared again on the program on the night his final show was televised, in addition to interview segments airing that night on local 11 p.m.
Jennings has also agreed to a deal with Microsoft to promote their Encarta encyclopedia software, and has signed a deal with Bertelsmann for a book to be published through one of their book divisions in 2005.

Looks like the rumors that have been spreading for months were true: Ken Jennings' amazing streak as Jeopardy champion came to an end last night.
Jennings' lost on the Final Jeopardy: "Most of this firm's 70,000 seasonal white-collar employees work only four months a year." Jennings answered "Who is FedEx?", but the correct response was "Who is H&R Block?" Nancy Zerg is now the Ryan Minor of Jeopardy.
Although Ken Jennings has obviously immortalized himself at Jeopardy by his display of a rare combination of electric intelligence, legendary versatility, appetizing humour and instructive humility, it is my opinion that a more formal approach to remembering this gem for ever be put in place.
