Taylor lived a great balance between the seriousness of eternity and the small pleasures of this life--like a good snack and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate from the vending machine in the Tyndale cafeteria.

Taylor came to see the unvarnished reality that the KJV, as fine a translation as it had been for it’s time, would never “speak” to his children or even to a lot of adults.
