Kenneth was one of 11 children born to the union of the late John Emmett and Pearl (Farris) Kelley.
On Sept. 11, 1941, Kenneth was united in marriage with Violet Lorraine Ray in Fairfield.
Kenneth went home to be with his Lord the morning of Jan. 12, 2004 at the Life Care Center of Waynesville at the age of 81 years and 8 days.

Kelley is charged with resisting arrest, intimidating a witness, threatening to commit a crime, assault with intent to rob while armed with a dangerous weapon -- a knife -- and two counts of armed robbery while masked in the case of two armed robberies at 7-Eleven at 226 Winthrop Ave.
Prosecutor Patrick Callahan told the judge yesterday that he was seeking a hearing to determine whether Kelley poses a danger to the community and should remain locked up until his trial.

In 1952 Dr. Julius G. Kelley, then the superintendent of the Barnstable County Hospital in Pocasset, proposed the idea of a foundation to promote the health and welfare of the inhabitants of Barnstable County.
Kelley died a few months later at the age of 89, and the Foundation came into being with the receipt of $25,000 and a few securities from his estate.
