  "Mars Effect" Controversy - A Brief Chronology - Planetos.info
The U.S. Mars effect study is published in The Skeptical Inquirer, the journal of the Committee for Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP).
Suitbert Ertel and Kenneth Irving analyze the question of “Biased Data Selection in Mars Effect Research,” in an article in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, dealing only with the question of how advance knowledge of Mars positions might have affected the various studies by both Gauquelin and skeptics.
Replying in “Is the ‘Mars Effect’ Genuine?, ” Paul Kurtz, J. Nienhuys and Ranjit Sandhu contend that Ertel and Irving are begging the question by drawing conclusions from a ratio based on an effect whose existence has not been demonstrated.

Kenneth Mars is hilarious as De Fuehrer worshipping author of 'Springtime for Hitler'.
The only weakness this movie has, which isn't enough to mar the near perfection of it, is that once the play has been staged, I always feel when watching that the climax of the movie has passed.
The last ten minutes of so always seem anti-climatic to me. Although that's not entirely fair since one of my favorite lines in the movie is spoken during these last 10 minutes.
