Reeves did mention that so far, all of the communities have spoken about their appreciation for the natural beauty in their area and wanting support from the county for community based programs.
Reeves is planning to submit a summary of the data that he collects to county commissioners on Feb. 7.

City Councillor Kenneth Reeves was elected and inaugurated to a two-year term as mayor of Cambridge on Jan. 2, replacing Councillor Michael Sullivan.
Reeves, who ran against Councillor Denise Simmons, was elected by the Council in a five-to-four vote.
Reeves agreed that education is a high priority, saying that one of his goals was to “give every student an education that equips them to succeed in the 21st century,” according to the Chronicle.

Growing up as a kid, and knowing I was gay, we had a fl State Representative who my mother, who was a very innocent lady, knew was gay, and I kind of knew from the fact of him that I could be gay and in politics, that it didn't foreclose that possibility...
He was a Quaker, which was quite unusual for an African American, and a pacifist, again, unusual enough, and he was a marvelous first example of how you could be fl, gay, involved with a church-based movement and succeed, because the talent that you have could not be denied.
