Kenneth Robeson was credited as the author of 179 of the original 181 novels that appeared in Doc Savage Magazine from 1933 to 1949.
The first issue carried the byline Kenneth Roberts and, due to a mistake by an editorial assistant, the March 1944 issue carried the byline Lester Dent, the true author of the novel.
Kenneth Robeson is the house name used by Street and Smith Publications as the author of their popular character Doc Savage and later The Avenger.

Doc Savage, a bronze-skinned scientist/adventurer who was an inspiration for Indiana Jones, is one of the most distinctive and popular heroes to come out of pulps.
He was created by legendary pulp writer Lester Dent under the pseudonym "Kenneth Robeson."
Murder Melody was written by Lawrence Donovan instead of Dent, and it's widely considered by pulp fans to be one of the worst Doc Savage stories every written.

The characters were created by Lester Dent (Doc Savage) and Walter Gibson (The Shadow) and the stories written by Paul Ernst writing as Kenneth Robeson, a Street & Smith house name.
After the cancellation of his own title there were a few stories published as a supporting feature in Clues Detective, 1942 - 1943 and a final story in The Shadow, 1944.
