On Tuesday the 7th of March 1995, Kenny Baker, the innards of R2D2 in STAR WARS was our guest and took part in a question and answer session with the group.
Kenny has been a guest once before in March, 1990, when we were last in the same venue (although it was called The Bodega then).
Kenny, on the other hand had a seat in R2-D2 and was not in contact with the walls at all.

Baker, at 3 feet, 8 inches (112 cm) tall, was a circus and cabaret performer with entertainer Jack Purvis[?] when George Lucas hired him to be the man inside of R2-D2 in Star Wars in 1977.
Baker and actor Anthony Daniels[?], who plays C-3P0 in the films, are the only actors to appear in all five Star Wars films.
