By 1456 Kentish Town was acknowledged as a thriving village and it was during this time that a chapel of ease was built for the community, thus providing them with a convenient place to worship.
The arrival of the buses and steam trains during the mid 1800's brought Kentish Town within commuting range of the city and it was during this period that a number of the middle classes moved into the area.

The Kentish Town Family Album stands out amongst my output in as much as it is my only attempt at film direction to date.
What I liked about this part of town was that it still seemed to have a semblance of community and of a highly disparate one at that.
The film, a series of sixty thirty-second clips of Kentish Towners doing whatever the hell they liked was shown at The Forum (no relation), formerly The Town and Country Club in February 2000 to an audience of 600 Kentish Towners and their friends.

I would recommend Kentish Town to live as there is good transport and its close to Camden without being too in your face.
I am thinking about renting from a resident in Kentish town but I have heard that it is a bit dodgy.
Kentish Town Road has everything you need from a high street in terms of supermarkets etc, there are several large supermarkets near by too inc Sainsbury's, Morrisons etc.
