		As the horses were warming up before the Kentucky Futurity on Oct. 9, trainer David Wade and I were discussing the entries in the race, including his own colt, Trade Balance.
		We both laughed at the absurdity of it, for Wade and I knew that the Kentucky Futurity was to be the crowning achievement of Muscles Yankee's career.
		It was his assessment of that race that led Wade to predict a Trade Balance/Conway Hall exacta in the Kentucky Futurity.

		Sadly, the Magic Wand wasn't able to go to Kentucky this year due to an illness in the family, and he already misses it, but with YOUBET there is no reason to miss any of the world class action from Lexington.
		From the Red Mile on Saturday, the Kentucky Futurity, the third and final part of the Trotting Triple Crown promises to be an interesting race.
		The heat racing aspect of this race is why some people now regard the Kentucky Futurity with special respect, but with the way speed horses are going now days, heat racing them too often would probably only result in tragedy.

	‘Photos’ to Meet in Kentucky Futurity
		Hammer and Vivid Photo were in Lexington, where they were waiting for those horses to join them for Saturday’s $400,000 Kentucky Futurity, the third jewel in trotting’s Triple Crown.
		On September 23, he participated in a qualifier at the Red Mile, home of the Kentucky Futurity, and was second by a length to filly Flawless Bluestone in 1:53.4.
		On Friday, the $250,000 Kentucky Filly Futurity will be held at the Red Mile.
