		To test for ketones the test is done by placing a small amount of urine on a test stick called a Uristix or Ketostix.
		When it has even a small amount of urine on it, you use a 3 cc or 5cc syringe and suck up the urine into the syringe from the cotton 2x2.

		KETOSTIX available in Safeways pharmacy dept., also apparently in Boots, altho I had trouble there.
		I've just bought ketostix from Boots Pharmacy £4.90 for 50 strips, only problems is that they won't sell you them if they are low on stock as they have to make sure they have some available for diabetics or so the assistant told me...

		I know some rely heavily on ketostix, I have been trying them, but I find them inaccurate just for myself, not for all, for some they are great (trying not to step on any toes, lol)
		I am guessing that when you used it in relation to how much water you drank, when you ate the berries and your level of activity could be responsible for the beige.
		The ketostix should be accurate, but unfortunately are not always a good indicator of whether you're in ketosis.

		I think your big mistake is in relying on the ketostix to tell you if you are "doing ok."
