The existing London and South Western station at Kew Bridge on the Hounslow loop is still open.
Its North and South Western Junction neighbour on a separate spur of the Kew triangle is closed however.
The Kew triangle still exists but only the south east - south west spur is open to passenger traffic.

On 14 September 2006 LPG carrier ‘Kew Bridge’, loaded with 8000 tonnes of liquified butane, ran aground at Ratnagiri, India.
A small team of tugs was connected to the ‘Kew Bridge’ to prevent her from moving any closer towards the shore and to pull her towards the sea.
The ‘Kew Bridge’ was safely refloated during the high tide of the 9 October and was towed to the outer anchorage.

Kew Bridge crosses the River Thames between Kew Green in Kew on the south bank and Strand-on-the-Green in Chiswick on the north bank.
Kew and the area around the bridge was significant to George as his father Frederick took a lease on Kew House, now part of the Royal Botanic Gardens from 1731 and rebuilt the house to designs by William Kent.
The Kew Bridge Act of 1898 paved the way and the third bridge was commissioned jointly by the Middlesex and Surrey County Councils at a cost of £250,000.

Wandsworth Bridge, with its central span of 200 feet comprising seven high-tensile steel girders, was built between 1937-40 by Sir T Peirson Frank and replaced an earlier iron lattice bridge built by J H Tolme and opened in 1873 by Colonel Hogg MP.
As the Palace of Westminster (the Houses of Parliament) is situated between Westminster and Lambeth Bridges, Lambeth Bridge is painted predominately red to represent the House of Lord's benches whilst Westminster Bridge is painted green to represent the House of Common's benches.
This railway bridge needed five spans and as the Thames Conservators insisted upon the piers of the two new bridges being in line, it was decided that the new road bridge would also have five spans.

Kew Bridge train station is directly opposite the office - simply come out of the station, cross the road at the main traffic lights and the office is right in front of you.
