So, I simply drilled two holes on the left and right side of the case, fastened guitar pins (reinforced on the inside by two pieces of metal, so the plastic case won’t crack when being loaded on it’s own weight) and applied a guitar strap.
And because having two cables (power and audio) coming out of your keytar just doesn’t look good, I fitted the C64 with a standard quarter inch guitar connector next to the power connector and made a 6 meter extension cable.

narrowcast: The Keytar: Not Funny Anymore
For a while there, "more cowbell" was threatening to replace requests of "Freebird" as the inane call of the concertgoer who thinks he's more clever than he actually is. It even kind of sullied a perfectly good cult-rock band and their biggest classic rock radio staple in the process.
Still, whatever practical application the instrument had to begin with (and given the fact that keyboards can be made much lighter now than during the Keytar's 80's heyday, there's probably plenty), it's now little more than a punchline, and it's quickly becoming one that's too played out to be funny.
The joke in Zoolander was that Mugato invented the keyboard necktie, though, not the keytar.
