The Khaldi (and the related Khalib/Chalybes) are considered to have been one of the oldest Ibero-Caucasian (possibly West Kartvelian) tribes (4th-2nd millennium BC), the oldest indigenous population of the south-eastern shore of the Black Sea (now part of Turkey).
The Khaldi, with their neighboring tribes Khalib/Chalybes, Mossynoikoi, and Tubal/Tabal/Tibarenoi, were one of the inventors of iron making.

Khaldi and Laurence both overlook Ethereals which have converted to Islam and Christianity on the Earthly Plane (including Bridgit who IMC didn't die but is considered dead by the Celtic fey).
The orginal Nephalim basically grew up in a time/place/circumstance where they knew there was a God and they were his grandchildren and basically that meant that they had free reign to terrorize, annhilate, and slaughter humanity.
Going on a Catholic basis, which Laurence and Dominic would approve of, all prayers are heard by God, who responds if and when he chooses to, which translates to GM choice...
