QUETTA, May 21: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf has announced the partition of Kharan into two districts and establishment of a new district comprising Sherani Tehsil of Zhob district.
With the establishment of the new districts, the number of districts in Balochistan would increase from 27 to 29.

He also argued that the case of Mohammad Akram was on a stronger footing on the principle laid down by the court in the Lt Gen (retd) Majeed Malik case and that the high court’s judgment was irrational.
