From the guesthouse all nice places in the city of Khon Kaen city are easy to reach, because just around the corner is a major street that is being used by many bus lines (songthaews).
To get to Khon Kaen:  by plane there are three Thai flights per day for about 1700 Baht per one way flight, by bus from Bangkok (go to the northeastern bus station and find the bus to Khon Kaen), or by train from Bangkok to Udon or Nong Khai.
In Khon Kaen the guesthouse is located near the lake Bung Kaen Nakhon.
