Khulna --- The journalists' unions yesterday rejected all the charge sheets in cases of murders of journalists Humayun Kabir Balu, Manik Saha, Shaikh Belaluddin and Shaikh Harun-ar-Rashid Khokon, terming them an eyewash and fraught with faults.
In a joint statement, the Khulna Press Club, Khulna Union of Journalists and Metropolitan Union of Journalists also demanded impartial reinvestigation by efficient and honest police officers and arrest of the real culprits.
They stressed the need for holding a convention of members of all press clubs in Khulna division with a view to launching a tough movement against such killings.
