He then journeyed to Wales, and thence to Iona, and left traces of his apostolic zeal at Kilbrandon (near Oban) and Kilbrennan Sound.

According to Fr Michael Hillery, PP of Killadysert, the Askeaton boatmen have again promised to attend at the little quay of Crovahan, a mile to the north (the Ennis) side of Killadysert town, to collect all and sundry and bring them the kilometre to the old monastic site.
If the day is fine, a few hundred may well attend.
