Heemeyer's Killdozer was a Komatsu D335A bulldozer (some sources say it was a Caterpillar D9, but local newspapers are specific on the model) fitted with makeshift armor plating covering the cabin, engine and parts of the tracks.
Killdozer was stopped by the failure of a radiator.

I'm in the middle of reading Killdozer!, the Theodore Sturgeon short story that's about a gigantic bulldozer that gets possessed by an alien and runs rampage across a remote Pacific island construction project, where a team of construction workers have to stop it.
Set the movie at a Mars colony, and the Killdozer is actually a piece of Martian construction equipment, remarkably found to be in working shape, that the colonists use to work on their construction projects until it goes berserk.

Everyone knows meteors bring things to life or have monsters in them, but these are tough construction guys so they just keep running into it with a bulldozer 'til it zaps the 'dozer and kills one guy.
I don't know why a big metal machine brought to life by space radiation or whatever would be hurt by electricity, but it is and the construction dudes win.

This Zappa-esque musical romp has a plethora of ancillary goodies located on Robert Sabin’s web site so that you have stuff to play with while you are listening to the six pieces of music that make up the CD.
By the time we get to the title composition, “Killdozer,” we have a piece of program music with the drums ticking like a clock and the bass playing a line which seems almost like Marvin thinking before he revs up the Kamatsu D335A for his maniacal drive.

Film stars Clint Walker as some guy who gets harassed by a Bulldozer, and Robert Urich as I don't remember what, because I haven't bothered to watch this heap of failure a second time 'round.
The front cover of this book shows a glaring, sharp-toothed, flame red bulldozer screaming vengeance and lunging at Clint Walker with death in his voice.
I think this must have been one of Marvel's first attempts at an official movie adaptation - I'm sure you've seen those, where the plot and dialogue are condensed in a ratio of one minute of screen time = one panel roughly a sixth of the size of the total page.

The crew is slow to realize that the dozer is dozing over their numbers one by one but when they do, the crew spends the rest of the movie peering around corners to see if Killerdozer is ready to pounce.
The suspense doesn't hold much water since a killer bulldozer has only two methods of disposal for it's victims: Wall-splat and Run-down.
It's hard to discribe but the dozer manages to look both ridiculous and menacing while it taunts it's prey but, believe me, it happens.
