The mitochondrial isoform of dUTPase (DUT-M) begins as a 31 kilodalton precursor protein containing an arginine-rich, amino-terminal presequence required for targeting to the mitochondria.
This precursor is processed into a 23 kilodalton protein that resides, in mature form, in the mitochondria.
The nuclear isoform of dUTPase (DUT-N) is an 18 kilodalton protein.

Atomic mass unit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In biochemistry and molecular biology literature (particularly in reference to proteins), the term "dalton" is used, with the symbol "Da".
Because proteins are large molecules, they are typically referred to in kilodaltons, or "kDa", with one kilodalton being equal to 1000 daltons.
The unified atomic mass unit is not an SI unit of mass, although it is (only by that name, and only with the symbol u) accepted for use with SI.

It was called Hp90 because it behaves as a host protein that weighs 90 kilodaltons.
Hp90 is tyrosine phosphorylated in host cells and is also the receptor that EPEC uses to bind to host cells.
One problem with this line of reasoning, Finlay knew, is that EPEC does not have any secreted proteins that weigh around 90 kilodaltons.

The 32 kilodalton protein is synthetised as a 33.5 kilodalton recursor.
In attempt to understand 32 kilodalton protein function, a treatment with low levels of D-threo-chloramphenicol was used to cause a depletion in a steady-state level of the protein.
This treatment exploits the rapid catabolism of the 32 kilodalton protein while protein synthesis is inhibited.

Effect of intestinal resection on serum antibodies to the mycobacterial 45/48 kilodalton doublet antigen in Crohn's disease.
The effect of intestinal resection on serum antibodies specific for Crohn's disease was investigated with an immunoblot assay and an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay using the 45/48 kilodalton doublet antigen of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Antibodies were detected in 64.7% of patients with Crohn's disease (n = 17), 10% of patients with ulcerative colitis (n = 10), 5% of patients with carcinoma of the colon (n = 20), and none of 10 healthy subjects with the immunoblot assay.

Publication request: Purification and Characterization of the Pasteurella Haemolytica 35 Kilodalton Periplasmic Iron-Regulated Protein
Interpretive Summary: Pasteurella haemolytica serovar A1 is a Gram-negative bacterium and a bacterial pathogen that causes bovine respiratory disease (BRD) also known as shipping fever.
Although the FbpA reacted weakly with serum IgG from acutely infected animals, the protein may serve as a diagnostic protein for the detection of the infectious agent in respiratory disease and the protein may also serve as a potential component for an improved vaccine.

Specific changes in rasGAP-associated 62 kilodalton protein during integrin mediated cell-substrate interaction
In particular, adhesive interactions between cells and their substrate, mediated by cell-surface integrins and extracellular matrix proteins, appears to activate the MAP kinase pathway.
Here we show that in mouse fibroblasts and rat epithelial cells, tyrosine phosphorylation of a 62 kilodalton rasGAP-associated protein (GAPa-p62) is decreased upon cell-substrate interaction.
