  Civilian Ships--Kinai Maru (Japanese Freighter, 1930)
Kinai Maru, a 8360 gross ton diesel-powered freighter, was built at Nagasaki, Japan, in 1930.
On 10 May 1943 the MS Kinai Maru was torpedoed and sunk by the U.S. submarine Plunger.
This ship is probably the MS Kinai Maru, sunk by Plunger on 10 May 1943, during her sixth war patrol.
