Kinfocenter will tell me we have a max of 1.8 GB memory, and show me 5GB of Disk Cache.
We have the 64GB enabled but have been told the most we are supposed to get is 2GB max per PROCESS this way.
At this point I'm not sure of what kinfocenter is telling me or ksysguard, of if they are actually giving me erroneous information--maybe these programs were written for earlier versions of Linux?

I recently installed kde3.4 in my /home directory using Konstruct everything work great except kinfocenter which has no data in it at all - i.e.
I am not sure where it is looking for the module names, there appear to be a bunch of suitable entries in: ~/kde3.4/share/applications/kde/ e.g.
dma.desktop kinfocenter.desktop pci.desktop But kinfocenter is not seeing any of this.

I want to be able to find the code for the devices that are listed in the kinfocenter docs.

Then remove Kcontrol and Kinfocenter from non-KDE XDG menus.
(Closes: #302812) + * KControl and KInfoCenter are now only visible in the KDE menu.
Their + presence elsewhere had caused user confusion.

And for example woody's kinfocenter displays my ram correctly, but the newer kinfocenters seems fail to do that.

The "cards" utilize shared memory and at boot an amount (sometimes > configurable in BIOS) is allocated by BIOS and is never seen by the OS.
