		A bit of a departure from the supernatural horror that is most frequently associated with his work, the novel describes a science fiction dystopia where market capitalism and television game shows have spiraled out of control, and the separation between the haves and the have-nots has been formalized with separate currencies.
		King establishes characters quickly, creating sympathy in the first few pages for Ben Richards--whose 18-month-old baby girl is suffering from a horrible cough, perhaps pneumonia.
		The action is also fast paced and, though the novel differs from much of King's other work, the sardonic social commentary reveals a pleasing glimmer of King's characteristically twisted sense of humor.

		Mega Man and Bass (previously known as Rockman and Forte) was basically a strange hybrid game for the Super Nintendo (currently only released in Japan) that was later ported to the Game Boy Advance.
		Much like Mega Man 8, of course, but I found the graphics to be a bit less overly colorful here, which is a good thing in my view.
		Stand on the platform (Mega Man has to time his jump just right to reach it) and fire super shots at the dome where King’s head is. Bass should stand his ground and fire diagonally any time he is not dodging.

		King is the (supposedly regal) final foe from Rockman and Forte.
		At the end of the game, King and Mega Man seem to be friends; perhaps he just sees the error of his ways and leaves the scene, and Wily steps in to take advantage of the power vacuum.
		Either way, I wish they'd at least called this guy "King Man" or even the politically troubling "Dr. King." Just being named "King" is even more unsettling than all those planetoid freaks a few games back; at least they were cool enough to justify a single-name designation.

		This is one of my favorite Mega Man games, because you can play as either Mega Man or Bass, there are some pretty cool powerups, and there is a side mission- to find all 100 CDs scattered throughout the game.
		At Cold Man's stage, the only part you should worry about is the part with the flying cannon robots preventing you from proceeding to the next ice platform in a large spiky section.
		What you have to do is, for Mega, charge up your buster throughout the entire ordeal, shooting at the cannons while jumping, or with Bass, destroy the first cannon, jump to a platform, rapid fire the next one after reaching the next platform.
