		King Kobra was formed in 1983 when legendary drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart) approached Mark Free to add his vocals to some tracks he had previously written and recorded with guitarist Earl Slick (John Lennon, David Bowie).
		When you think of King Kobra, a vision of four bleached blondes out in front with one of rock's preeminent drummers in the driver's seat may come to mind.
		For King Kobra, much of their most powerful material fell into a well of lost years, and is exclusively presented here for the very first time.

		King Kobra is the brain child of drummer Carmine Appice and were around only long enough to release 3 albums.
		King Kobra were a great band and everyone should own Thrill Of A Lifetime at least, the but it is plain to see they used the best tracks at the time.
		Stick to the albums unless you are a die hard Mark Free & King Kobra fan.

		So here on this release, "The Lost Years," the story of "King Kobra" is officially uncovered.
		Though it would've been my choice to exclude "#1" and replace it with either "Take It Off" or "Burning In Her Fire," for anyone who caught the groove when this talented, but poorly misdirected '80s band first pounced on the scene, "King Kobra's" "Lost Years" will prove a worthwhile discovery.
