Academic research done on three occasions from 1990 to 1991 by Gyeong Seong University revealed this place to be a group burial ground, mostly of the ruling class in Geumgwan Gaya from around the 2~6th Century.

but even if he is related to the kaya royal line there is still no way that he could have had his portrait painted with a crown on his head...he was not king.
Shilla era did not restrict the use of golden ornaments to kings.
