A foreign ministry statement issued on Thursday quoted the prime minister as telling the Nepalese king that "Pakistan strictly adheres to the principles of non-intervention and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.
Premier Aziz, the current chairman of the Saarc, discussed with the Nepalese king the holding of the 13th Saarc summit.
"King Gyanendra shared the prime minister's disappointment over the postponement of the Saarc summit and expressed full confidence in Pakistan to set up new dates for the summit," the statement said.

Pakistan will not only survive your departure from the government, your exit will, in fact, reinvigorate it.
The underlying premise of this suggestion is that Pakistan is a democracy, you are a public servant who works at the pleasure of the public and was hired to work for the welfare of the people.

The now defunct National assembly of Pakistan, consisting mainly of urban and rural feudal lords, refused to even discuss the multiple “honor killings” of innocent young girls seeking the freedom of choice in marriage or divorce because, in the words of one of the legislators, this was a “matter of honor”.
There were forces in Pakistan for honest and secular democracy such as under the leadership of Air Marshall (retired) Asghar Khan, but you had no support for them because they could not razzle dazzle the illiterate masses with false slogans and promises.
Eventually, the Pakistan Army, the only remaining institution in the country with discipline, meritocracy and integrity (with the exception of some fl sheep, now absconding from justice), was forced to step in to stem the rot in answer to the prayers of the suffering and crying masses.

If President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and King Fahd of Saudi Arabia are running scared, it is not of a rising generation of pro-Western democrats; it is of hordes of radical youths who will take advantage of any democratization process to support new tyrannies.

On October 18, 1989, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan announced the up gradation of Khyber Medical College to the status of the University and successive governments have also supported the idea but no concrete effort was made.

King Hassan II received on Tuesday in the royal palace of Rabat a group of newly appointed ambassadors to Morocco who handed him their credentials and received other diplomats who bade him farewell at the end of their mission in Morocco.
The king also received the ambassadors of the Republic of Mali, Ahmed Mohamed Haj Hamani, and of Norway, Arne Bierger Honning Stad who came to bid the sovereign farewell at the end of their mission in Morocco.
The King called for peace in the world and prayed for an end to the conflict between India and Pakistan.
