	Kingdom of the Outlands Orders and Awards
		The Outlands began as a region of Atenveldt.
		It became a principality in A.S., and was elevated to kingdom status in A.S. The arms of the kingdom are Vert, a stag argent, attired and unguled, salient from between the boughs of a laurel wreath, in chief a Saxon crown, all within a bordure embattled Or.
		Outlands kingdom law requires that anyone receiving an award must be a paid member of the SCA.

	WARBOOK OF THE OUTLANDS
		The Outlands has always taken pride in the fact that when called to war, it can count on all of the citizens to pull together into one combined force, not composed only of fighters, but of the many others that lend their support.
		“Outlands, Ready Up, pulse, move.” or “Citadel Ready, advance at a trot, move.” During battle it is important to wait for the “move” before responding to the command.
		Outlands "Plan A" involves a hard right flank followed by a counter-clockwise sweep promoting deep penetration into the opponents backfield while pushing the opponent forward trapping them between the sweeping forces and a static or advancing front line.

	Society for Creative Anachronism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

	Outlands Toys for Tots Challenge Totals \| SCAtoday.net
		Master Adam Stedefast of the Kingdom of the Outlands reports on this year's Toys for Tots Challenge and the amazing number of toys collected for charity in that Kingdom.
		The tournament flourished there for years, until a previous reign of Artan and Aziza, King and Queen of the Outlands, when Their Royal Majesties allowed that a challenge should be sent throughout the kingdom to see exactly how many toys the Outlands could raise.
		If you are moved by these words and the generosity of the Outlands, it is not too early to think about plans for next year.

	Knight Marshal, Rapier Marshal, Archery Captain
		Fighting is a core activity in the Society, and the biannual Crown Tournament determines the next King and Queen of the Outlands through skill and success in the art of Armored Combat.
		The Kingdom of the Outlands supports target archery and the Barony of Dragonsspine has a very active group of archers.

		Caerthe is located in the Kingdom of the Outlands, which includes Wyoming, most of Colorado, New Mexico and the tip of Texas.
		Depending on their size, local chapters within kingdoms are known as principalities, baronies, shires, cantons or colleges.

	West Kingdom Needleworkers Guild: Royal Rose Pouches
		The Guild started with a request for 16 pouches to be needleworked and presented to Their Majesties of the Kingdom of the West, some in 2001 and others in 2002.
		Their Majesties were able to present these pouches to each of the respective Queens in those kingdoms when they ventured to Pennsic in 2001 and again in 2002.
		One pouch for each of the 18 kingdoms in the SCA were needleworked and presented to Their Majesties at June Crown this year; they in turn will present them to each of the Kingdoms' Queens when they travel to Pennsic in August.

	I Am The Display
		Newly updated January 2006 - Better techniques at faking the look of medieval Japanese brocades and an invitation to attend the Kingdom of the Outlands' Japanese themed Twelfth Night gave me an excuse to reconstruct the uchigi originally made in the fall of 2002.
		A version of this article was presented as part of the West Kingdom Clothier’s Guild display and contained an invitation for readers to accost Makiwara with questions.
		The West Kingdom is blessed with temperate weather and a long tourney season.

		I was given my Award of Arms at Twelfth Night 1992, and at the Outlands Cooking Collegium in October 1993 I was awarded the Gilded Leaf of Caerthe.
		Since then I was Koch and Feast Manager for a Kingdom Arts and Sciences, several Baronial Arts and Sciences, have been on countless kitchen crews, and have competed in Queens Prize, Baronial, and Kingdom level AandS competitions.
		In 2000 I was the Arts and Sciences Champion for the Barony and also held the Culinary Division of the Kingdom of the Outlands Arts and Sciences Championship.
