 Lost Kingdoms - GameCritics.com
Lost Kingdoms is a fairly unique third-person action game, with the twist being that the main character, Katia, uses magically summoned creatures as weapons.
The game features a three-quarter view (except during story scenes), and zooming in and out or rotating the screen is painless and intuitive.
The game is not ugly by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not something you'd call impressive, either.

 Kingdoms review, by Tom Vasel
Kingdoms (a reprint of Auf Heller und Pfennig) is one of these.
Kingdoms is played on a small board with 25 spaces on a 5 by 5 grid.
Which is perfect for this game, as you are placing tiles down onto the green, and it would be confusing otherwise.

 Science Fiction Game Reviews
Each player is the leader of one of the kingdoms, which range from human nations through trolls, elves and dwarves to the bizarre Eaters of Wisdom and the wicked Black Hand.
Each kingdom has a king or queen who leads armies and fleets to attack neighboring kingdoms, with strategy largely based on utilizing or bypassing Minaria's many rivers (depending on whether you have fleets or not) in order to surround, besiege and plunder enemy cities.
Each kingdom has a diplomat who can be sent to kingdoms not played by a human player and attempt to bring them into the war.

 3DKingdoms
Kingdoms Creator started out as a character animator, then expanded into a scene editor, and the game engine was built on this base.
In the editor sectors can be hidden to focus on the current area and save framerate, so levels aren't really as small as they might appear to be in level editing screenshots =) I've been improving the handling of large levels, both rendering and editing.
The game engine itself was originally designed for a first person shooter.

 Kingdoms Review
Kingdoms is the latest Reiner Knizia game to be published by Fantasy Flight Games and is essentially identical in play to his earlier Auf Heller Und Pfennig.
This game is from Knizia's earlier days when his games were often described as being very "mathematical".
The game is relatively quick at about 45 minutes and so the lack of true strategic depth is not a serious flaw in my opinion.

 RPGnet: Review of Kingdoms
Kingdoms was originally published as Auf Heller und Pfennig in Germany, where it instead featured the theme of peddlers competing for the best stall placement in a bazaar.
The game is won by placing the largest castles in the regions (rows & columns) which have the richest resources and least hazards.
Overall Kingdoms is a fun game, with its only mild limitations being the random factor of the secret tile, and its simplicity acting as an ultimate limitor to replays.

Board games have readily found their way onto may home consoles and portables, and not just classics like chess and checkers, but just about anything and everything you can think of, and the digital age has led to some rather drastic changes, both good and bad.
Online Chess Kingdoms is the first, and probably not the last, PSP title that brings the classic game into the palm of your hand, but with some unique aspects.
As you move around the board, you will eventually come into contact with enemy forces which you can do battle with and this brings up the classic chess board, though there is a slight difference.

The Lord of the Rings board game is a unique and original game in which players must work together to defeat the game itself, a daunting task that will challenge even the most experienced players.
The game uses a hidden movement system to simulate the search for the ring, and the conflict resolution system is a brilliant cardplay mechanic from a limited resource pool of cards.
One is a brand new and original full length game (not just a Trivia mechanism) and the other is a shortened and simpler version of the main game designed for those who are keener on Tolkien than on games.

The game is based on the rivalry between Liu Bei and Cao Cao, two leading figures in Ancient China.
As usual with KOEI games, you don't have to play one of these, and are free to choose between 12 different leaders.
The object of the game is to conquer the whole of China, and with 11 rivals this is not an easy task.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII for PlayStation 2 Review - PlayStation 2 Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII Review
The game makes a few other mechanical additions, but this is fundamentally the same strategy game you've been playing for years.
For decades, the three powerful kingdoms of the book's title--Wu, Wei, and Shu--vied politically and militarily for dominance, and it's this hostile climate in which Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII (like all previous games before it) is set.
At least this game's music, like last year's, is higher quality than you'd expect--it's well composed and appropriate to the setting, and it manages not to become tiresome even when you've heard a lot of it (and you will).

As in other RTS games, resource management is the key to a successful kingdom -- although not as central to victory in Seven Kingdoms as it is elsewhere.

Four Fat Chicks -- Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition Review
The game's mechanics are fairly standard RPG fare, with the majority of tasks accomplished via a left mouse click—equipping items, moving from one place to another, managing your inventory and chatting with the various NPCs that you'll meet—while a right-click is used to attack.
The marketing blurb on the box states that all of your actions will have consequences within the game world; however, some of those choices are so subtly integrated into the story, you won't realize you've made a definitive choice until you're affected by it later in the game.
The few niggles—lack of a functioning map, long load times later in the game and the fact that the game is a bit unbalanced at the beginning—never really affected my enjoyment of the game.

IGN: Reader Review of: Lost Kingdoms
The background in the battles are exactly the same as the level you was on at any area of the game, so if you kill a monster on the left side of the square, and go back to the level, your character will appear exactly there.
The game features a great premise, but the execution of the story is weak.
The artwork for your cards are very important for the game, since you have to remember them for your battles when they pop up at random.

Online Chess Kingdoms (psp: 2006): Reviews
Online Chess Kingdoms is predictably unsuccessful in its attempts to change or enhance the timeless classic, but thankfully it does let you play classic chess online or off.
Kingdoms does offer is a new visual style to this tried and true game of wits and strategy, but as mentioned above, it's not the first time this has been done.
Newcomers to the game will enjoy better introductions elsewhere despite the handy suggest-a-move trappings, and veterans don't get any chess puzzles to tickle their fancy, but at least you won't have to worry about losing pieces in the depths of your carry-on luggage.
