Coaching sessions are held every Tuesday evening at 7pm - initially on the recreation ground (next to the leisure centre) and then on the floodlit Gillingham School Astro when it gets darker.

River Hymn for Rogationtide(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-27)
Joining in with the spirit of the Confluence project, the Reverend William Ridding of the four parishes Buckhorn Weston, KingtonMagna, Fifehead Magdalen and West Stour based the whole Rogationtide service on the celebration of God's gift of water in creation.
Three weeks beforehand, ten members of the Stour villages gathered together in West Stour village hall in to compose a new hymn especially for this service in a workshop lead by Helen Porter.
The new hymn has been enthusiastically received into the repetoire of the congregation, and new music is continuing to be produced in the Stour villages with the Folk Ballads project run by Helen Porter with Dorset folk musician Tim Laycock.

Other groups and soloists from the valley joined us, among them Jubilate, The Farrant Singers, The Gravellers and The Accord barbershop groups, the new Stour Villages Choir (from Buckhorn Weston, KingtonMagna, Fifehead Magdalen and West Stour) as well as the Kraterkoor choir from Holland.
There was also an informal concert in the packed church of St Peter at 5.30pm to round off the day's events.
