Kirsty Jackson Young (born November 23, 1968 in East Kilbride) is a Scottish-born television journalist and presenter.
Kirsty was a well-known face in her native Scotland, where she presented Scottish TV's main evening news programme, Scotland Today.
Kirsty has hosted four episodes of Have I Got News For You (the last one March 6, 2006 was a repeat) to considerable critical acclaim, despite not being a comedian.
